I think the idea is workable. I don't know how you'd sell it, but targeting opportunities through Career Fairs at schools might be a place to start.
Good luck with it.

Sounds like a great idea. College students are short on practical instruction when it comes to time management and especially financial management! The key will be getting into the heads of your target customer, coming up with the questions that they are asking themselves and the needs they have, and then setting up a practical means of providing for those needs. Marketing campaigns might start in various college forums, and if you have the money to invest in marketing, you might be able to come up with some great campaigns online. Just remember to see the process from your clients' perspective and then offer ways to answer the biggest questions they currently have and I think you've got a winner. Good luck!

You need a website where you can describe your skills, your services, why you're awesome, etc. Then, make business cards and leave them all over the place - panera bread, starbucks, everywhere! You'll be surprised. Parents will find you. But, you need a place for them to go and a website would be the best way for you to sell yourself.
You can then also try listing your services on craigslist. It's a great site and its free. Start with that because it requires little investment. If you get somewhere, you'll start making money and then can invest in attending career fairs. I think many of them are paid (i.e., you need to pay to have a booth) so you'll need some cash.
Best of luck!

yes you certainly need a website and it needs to be professional and explain well exactly what you do, what you offer and how much it costs. I also recommend going to the library and getting some books on coaching and consulting businesses. You must be healthy to be successful.
