"any advice will help!"

I was thinking of opening a women lounge for those days you just want to get away from the hustle and bustle of your job, family, and anything that may cause stress. What are some things that I can offer to make this small getaway worthwhile and worth coming to and somewhat profitable for me

Hello The Blessed 1,

As a first step, I would gather a group of women that fit your target market. Basically they should all fit the profile of the type of women you believe will come to your lounge. Get as specific as you can.

Next, talk to those woman and let them tell you what they would want from a lounge like this, what they would like to have available to them there, and what they would pay for the type of experience you'll be providing.

Once you have that info, you can come up with an outline of what women would be interested in. Then, you can begin creating your business plan with an eye towards starting at a level that would be feasible for you financially. You can always expand and grow as your resources grow.

Good luck.

Yes I agree, also I would consider some of the following:

1. a browsing library where you can exchange books and also read and discuss them with some nice relaxing furniture
2. a nice piano with someone to play some nice classical music.
3. massage and spa services.

Have you e-mailed all of your women friends to find out the types of things they would be interested in seeing at your "Lounge"?
Have you calculated the expenses associated with this type of business and the number of clients you would need to make a profit?

I think this is a good idea. While you are working out the details, also check this out: www.myhomeoffice.ws. Very simple and fun way to make money. I've made money every month for 2 years now.

Have fun and good luck!

I think it's a great idea. They used to have "Men's clubs" and bars/pubs that only allowed men back in the 1900's etc, so I think it would be really good to have a place where only women can get away from it all.

Things I would want in there are lots of women's magazines or magazines interesting to women such as gardening and cooking, weight loss, fashion etc.
I'd also want a cafe area for coffee and cakes. Other women might want a stronger drink.

That's just off the top of my head.
