I have a desire to create and sell purses. I don't even know ehere to start. I am trying to find out if I should try and manufacture them on my own or have someone or some factory do this for me. I don't know who to contact or how to seal the deal. The purse idea is great and maybe I can patent the design idea. I am not sure, I am all over the place with this. Where do I start? How do I contact manufacturers? I would like a U.S.Company to produce them.

I am passionate about starting my own business, but have SO many ideas that I don't know where to start.

I saw an awesome idea the other day, but like you, I have NO idea where to start - it is also in the manufacture / sales of purses - very unique purses.

I have no idea though where to start to get someone to manufacture them. I have no problem designing and selling, I need someone to make them.

Frustrating. If you (or anyone) knows how to source out manufacturers, please let us know.

Well....the first thing I would do is plug into Google Search: U.S. purse manufacturer . That alone brings up over 2.5 million results. That would be a good place to start....
