im just starting a fashion boutique in a small town. Im known for dressing "pretty,cute" as they tell me. people always tell me to sell them my clothes when i dont want them any more. Which brings be to my point, where can i get clothes,shoes,and jewerly for my boutique?

If you want to go with the clothes you have, take a look at some of the brands you wear. You'll want to go to the manufacturers website and contact them about being a wholesaler.

If you're looking to expand, I would suggest that you look to indie clothing designers. You can find some ideas for designers at http://modcloth.com. But generally, you find who you want to use and then ask them about wholesale pricing. Same for jewelry and shoes.

Agreed! First place to look is your wardrobe, with pen & paper. Just see what you dress alot in and where the complements are coming from. If it is the skirts, just look at what you have been wearing, then shop around for them, maybe in different colours, abit of altered style (without losing the pretty,cute) e.t.c.
You could specialise in certain items e.g. skirts, or shorts, or tops. Or you could use your fashion sense to mix & match them and sell off as sets.

Good advice so far, but I would also add that it is good to buy some things that you like, but keep in mind that if you are wanting to sell to everyone's taste, you need also to buy some things that you wouldn't like...every is very different and you don't want too much of the same idea, too cookie cutter for some people..

I am a gift and jewelry manufacturer, myself. You can find all the suppliers that you need on the net. Just remember when putting in your searchs to include the word "wholesale" after your query...e.g. costume jewelry wholesale.
