115, where to get a free/inexpensive picture for logo?
Posted by michael_ntcp, Sun Aug-08-10 04:46 AM
Is there a way to find a picture that I can use for free as a logo for my business. Actually I am ready to pay $10-$50 for this:

I am going to use it as a logo of my website and in printed advertising.
This is going to be a logo for a training; there will be a picture of several people holding hands together, maybe something with humor. This must be not a photo but something CARTOON style.

As far as I understand I can't use whatever I find in Google pictures for free:., right?

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Correct. That could be copyright infringement.

There are numerous graphics sites online where you can create your own. Perhaps pay someone on Fiverr or related site as that is within your budget.

Hi,

I have a few fantastic suggestions ... for images you really cant beat:

#1 - http://www.istockphoto.com/
#2 - http://www.gettyimages.com

As a side note we got our logo (and almost all other material) created at http://99designs.com ... essentially you post exactly what it is your looking for and your budget and graphic designers from all over the world will SUBMIT their work! You get to pick the best and only pay once your satisfied.

Your obviously working on a budget so even if you get the images your still going to need someone to work on it to make it exactly what you want. 99 Designs is my top recommendation for professional design on a budget.

Cheers,

David GS
