I'm currently writing an article on contractor services sites such as elance, freelance and odesk. If any of you use these sites, I'd love to pick your brain a bit about:

1. why you do/don't use these types of sites
2. what your thoughts are concerning the positions you've seen, found, have interviewed for and worked on through them
3. what venues have been the most profitable for you to find clients (these types of sites, word of mouth, other online portals?)
