138, ERP Systems for Small and Medium Sized Companies (Research Questions)
Posted by S_Sabur, Thu Aug-06-09 02:02 AM
Hi,

I am a postgraduate student reading Business Systems Analysis & Design at City University, London. At present I am working on my thesis looking at the feasibility of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). This thesis aims to produce a framework of guidelines and decision criteria regarding the costs and benefits of ERP systems for SMEs to benefit the SMEs themselves as well as consultants, ERP vendors as well as academics working in this field.

As part of my work I am conducting a questionnaire on SMEs' use of IT and their implementation of ERP systems and would be grateful if you would be willing to answer my questionnaire if you own or work for an SME. The questionnaire is online at:

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=qHEbhH91KoplVDhBLePQdQ_3d_3d

The questionnaire takes approximately 15 minutes to complete.

Due to the time-limit imposed on the project the survey will only be open until 21st August 2009.

All the information provided will be kept strictly confidential and used only for statistical analysis for this project.

Please feel free to contact me with any queries regarding my research via the details given below.

Many thanks,

Mr. Shameer Sabur
