Hi! I am new to this forum, but I'm so impressed with everyone's desire to help. I am in the process of starting a new service/writing business that I will run mostly online. I have noticed that there are several businesses online with names that I want, but none of them operate in my state. Is it okay to have the same name (or similar) as another company that does the same line of work, both online, if we operate out of different states? Where would I find the rules on this?
