" I could use some constructive advice. My domain name and the name that I have submitted to search engines and have business cards printed on is http://www.thebarefootmommy.com but I am wondering if I should develope a mirror site with a more discriptive name. I am just curious what other peoples opinions are. Thank you!

Tiffany,

There's no reason to get another domain and build a mirror site. It's just wasting your time and *could* hurt your existing site if not done correctly.

Put the descriptive information in your current site. Review Google's guidelines and follow them with your site and it'll be the best approach.

Tiffany,

I think you made a nice choice with your domain name. It's memorable which is what you want. It's also very brandable.

Rather than a second domain, you could include a descriptive phrase along with your website URL.

If you're thinking in terms of search engine rankings, it's true that a descriptive product-oriented name can help. However, that probably wouldn't be best for you since you sell a variety of products.

What you could do is add some individual pages, each focusing on a specific product or product type.

To get search engine traffic, you need to do some keyword research. It involves more work than other means of getting traffic, but it can be a good source of free traffic that often remains fairly constant.
