For years I have wanted to start my oun bicycle business as I cant seem to get a job at any local bike shops as I'm not a certified bicycle mechanic. Hello! I've been working, building and restoring bikes since I was 10 (now 43). The name I have worked up is
"The Re-Cyclist"
This is due to the idea that the bikes in my shop are all made out of used bicycles that would normally end up in the trash, of course if any parts arent safe they would be replaced with new. Also the business would be repairing bikes free for low income and homless people. One of the other ideas I have come up with is to make these bikes "custom made" meaning the customer chooses color, style and parts of the bike to their liking. My main problem right now is funding! I need things like: professional tool and mechanic stands, a store/workshop/wearhouse.
So if anyone can give me a couple of good pointers on how I may be able to obtain this Info it would be great
