Keep the name simple. You also want something where you can get the domain name. You may not want a website right away (although you should), but you will want one as your business grows. So, make sure you check to see whether the domain name is available. You can do so here: http://domains.pagebuzz.com

MachineMenders.com is a good name but someone already owns the domain name. How about these:

YourNameRepair.com
DoortoDoorRepairs.com (but note the 2 r's - you would need to get both with the 1 r and the 2 rs')
D2DRepairs.com (for door to door)
BangingRepairs.com (because you're banging your head :))
RepairatYourDoor.com
