I am opening a retail furniture business. A name I like is DomiStyle...a fusion of domicile and style. Half of those polled like it and the other half don't get it and don't like it. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Interesting concept, but if you do decide to go with that business name, be prepared to keep explaining it to people over and over again for years to come. It may look good on paper, but probably won't translate well to everyday use. (Just my opinion, of course.)

I'm a firm believer of keeping it simple. So, if people don't get it, don't use it. Also, I would recommend that you get the domain name (even if you don't get a website right away) and I can see people misspelling that name in all kinds of ways.

On the other hand, the name is pretty unique sounding so, why not? But, I juste checked the domain name and someone owns the name and has a webiste at is - check it out- idea look familiar? :)

You could do domicileandstyle.com - that domain is available.
