Me and my wife have been looking into some online advertisements (serv.maj., Kudzu,etc.) does anyone have any tips for some home improvement serv. sites?

Not sure exactly what you are asking. What is it that you do, and who is your target market?
Online advertising can work if it is right for you, and the target sites are good. There are also PPC advertising like Google AdWords, and Yahoo Sponsored Search.
