I like that you chose white for the predominate color, this creates that clean look that can be very effective.

I would suggest that your page elements be placed better. Your images in the right hand side are left with a floating feeling.

I would also get rid of the Ads by Google at the top, this may make people leave. Because many sites abuse the search engines and set up websites for just ad revenue, your site may initially come off looking like one of those.
