Here is a quick rundown of how to make money online. Keep in mind, if it is worth having, it requires work. Making money is never totally easy. At least a few hours will be required every day.

1) Do you have a service to offer? You can sign up with one or more of the many freelance sites and bid on freelance "jobs". You can sign up with a Virtual Assistant company and be part of their team. They provide assistance to their clients, such as data entry, document retrieval, research, writing, website management...done via the internet. Visit http://www.ewomanweb.com and take a look at the left hand menu. There are several Data entry, freelance, telecommuting, and Virtual Assistant links.

2) You can create a website and have some revenue generating affilliate links. Affilliate links are basically links to a merchant's item or items that you think the visitors of your website may be interested in. Your visitor clicks the link, makes a purchase, and you get a portion of the sale. A few of the big affilliate companies are Commission Junction (www.cj.com) and Linkshare (www.linkshare.com). Another option is to have Google Adsense (learn more at http://www.google.com/adsense) ads on your site. These are ads generated by Google, relevant to your particular website, that generate a small bit of money each time someone clicks the ad. Adbrite (www.adbrite) is similar to Google Adsense. Or, if you have an item or a craft, sell it via your website. Regardless of the route you take, make sure your website has a lot of quality information that people are interested in. Create the site about something you are personally interested in. Example: gardening in Michigan. This is a niche, unlike gardening (in general). A niche is less competetive and therefore easier to market. You will also need to make sure the site is well optimized for both your visitors and the search engines. 3) You can create a blog. Everything that I mentioned above for a website applies for a blog. You can create a free blog at www.blogger.com

4) You can sell items on Ebay

No matter what it is you decide to do to earn money online, work on your part is required. Just make sure whatever you do, make it something you enjoy.
