Well, I can't help you in the UK. However, maybe explaining my experience in the USA will give you some ideas.

I meet a lot of strong salespeople at networking events. Let people know at the networking event what type of salesperson you are looking for. They might know of someone or can keep their eyes open for someone who would be a good fit for your business.

Sorry but that is the best advice I have for you.

I'm afraid that Suzanne's advice is the best I've got too.

Unfortunately, we live in a world where people feel entitled. Entitled to get paid the 75-80K a year salaries without having to do the work. If we had the money to pay sales people like that, we wouldn't need the salespeople, would we?

My best advice for this is to find people who believe in your product to sell it. If you can bring them on board so that they become part of the company, they'll work harder at doing the building... Just a thought.

Good luck with the new endeavour.
