1090, How do I promote our business w/o a website?|

My father, the boss, does not want a website- he thinks it would generate more business than he could handle. How can I get our business 'out there' without using a website? We build fishing rods. We do have a nice word-of-mouth network going, because he is retired law enforcement, & they really support each other.
Any other ideas for us newbies? Thanks!

I'd make the site.
You can always put some verbage about a waiting list on there. :-)

He is afraid it will generate more business than he can handle... Problems like THAT I wish I had. :D
I'm confused... if he doesn't want the value of the website... why do you want to get the name out there?

I already copy and pasted the loooong list of ways to do off-line marketing in another thread somewhere on this forum. Here's the link to the other forum that I found it on. It's very good and quite extensive: http://www.worldwideworkathome.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3312

I actually understand where you are coming from. I create marketing plans for small business and sometimes I get hot with requests I can't handle. Tell them straight out there is a waiting list.
If they really want your product they will wait.

I agree with the others but what about a blog instead.
