Please help, a friend and I have the opportunity to manage a new cafe.
The building is a historic building that a older couple has completely remodeled, the cafe seats 50 people and they have provided all of the major appliances, dishes and tables and chairs.
We are responsible for the warmers, small appliances,containers, pots and pans and the food. We have already purchased a few items but need help with the rest. The cafe is located in Missouri, just 3 miles from my house.My husband and I own alot of land but since we have been raising our grandchildren for the past 8 years and with our payments on the land it takes all of our money to get by. Is there any grants available? or someone that will loan us the money? I can't borrow the money from the bank because my husband has borrowed our limit.

$5000 is certainly reasonable. See the blog below for a funding source.
You might also try prosper.com but their lending criteria is getting more difficult. You still need a good credit score.
