I am looking for funding for a film that has director and stars attached . The film exposes the fact that HIV/AIDS is rapidly growing in the U.S. among women, and is the leading cause of death among African American women ages 24 - 35. It is not preachy, however will manage to educate in an entertaining way. Soundtrack has top-tier recording artists attached. All on aboard are willing to participate in helping to raise funds for grassroots non-profit HIV/AIDS organizations that test and inform.

Best of luck to yo Reeln. I am someone that has personally been affected by AIDS. I lost my 24 yr old brother in 1988. My family is deeply involved in a non-profit organization that does many things including Education.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I have seen the devastation of the disease on a human body, on families, friends, etc., and I so want this disease erradicated. In a medical seminar, I learned that the U.S. will hit numbers akin to Africa in five years due to transmittal through piercings and tattoos. I would be interested to know about the non-profit organization because when this film is produced, we will need to know the organizations that are truly doing the work in order to donate. Have you seen the doctor who discovered a cure on youtube?

As a grant researcher I really think that you should look into some of the government grant programs! One of the main reasons that there are grant programs in the first place is to bring a greater awareness to something and there is a big concern as far as HIV and AIDS go!

While the government grants award the most money there are other grant programs being offered by organizations / entities other than the government as well.

And this also takes care of the need for an investor because you don't have to worry about paying the money back or losing an interest in your film.
