Yes I agree that you are going to have to be a little bit more specific.
As someone that does grant research I can tell you that you would be surprised at the different kinds of places, people and organizations that have gotten grants over the years!

Depending on how much you need you might try www.prosper.com. It's a peer to peer lending group. It does have a $25k limit though.
