Can someone give me ideas on what should be on a contract between a partnership? My friend and I both have experience with medical coding and billing. We have work and soon will need to be hiring employees but we still dont have a contract between the two of us. Any suggestions?

I cant render any legal advise of course, but being in business development, I have to help businesses starting up with a number of diffrent documents to assist in the start up process. I have a template partnership agreement you can take a look at as a guideline only (which should of course be followed up with legal advise) Email me at ajones@abcsolutions.cjb.net

My advise is the same as the others...

Go see a lawyer. They will advise you on the type of entity to set up. You'll need a buy/sell agreement or a founders agreement to start, too.

Do not do this work yourself. You need to protect yourself and she/he needs to protect themselves. Most times I see partners each getting their own lawyers.
