I am compiling a book of quotes focusing on redefining success & failure geared particularly toward entrepreneurs (my husband and I just closed down our business so this project is an exercise for me in redefining my own circumstances!!) I've found a couple of things on copyright laws but I'm still unsure of what I can do or not and what the potential liabilities are with using somebody else's quotes. Anybody know anything about this? Also, any input on your favorite quotes would be helpful. If anyone knows of a forum that specializes in some of this can you point me in that direction?

Since you're compiling quotes for a commercial use, you'll be more restricted in what you can use without permission.

Also, try googling: quotes "public domain"
