I've been coming to this website since it's early inception (1999?) and I've always enjoyed reading the many creative business ideas as well as the strong support from those dedicated users (Pepperfire for one).

I had tons of ideas and never really knew exactly what I was good at until I got laid off from my IT job almost 2 years ago. I decided to try my hand at graphic design since Photoshop was something I had learned over the years and developed a liking to.

I posted a thread here soon after I started my graphic deign venture asking for help and I received very good feedback and fresh ideas. I still have a ways to go to get where I want to be but I have learned a ton on the business side over these past 2 years and feel like I'm in a good position to start profiting from doing what I love.

I still come back here to read about what's going on and to try to help those who were in my same position many years ago. Thanks to everyone who has lended a hand in where I am today.
