I was just looking into a phone, as you mentioned, a week or so ago for my father. He is hard of hearing so he can never hear what is being said... and he gets confused with all of the buttons. If you are marketing your phone to seniors, then I would suggest having a higher than normal volume and get rid of the FM radio and MP3 players. Or, offer two types. My father could no more figure out how to play an MP3 than perform brain surgery. And, many other seniors are probably in a similar boat.

Here is a link to a phone that we are considering for my father. http://clarityproducts.com/press-news/#article//nCK1d+XE8H4o5CIgh/3qQ==

I know that for him, at least, the simpler the better. Less buttons, less functions. He needs to answer the phone and hang it up. And... have an easy to get to phone list. That's it.

Just a suggestion. Maybe you can have a phone for "barely seniors" and one for "Very seniors".

Nice idea!
