I have a question, I wanted to know if anyone has any information for the following:

Lets say for example that I want to make customized socks, or tshirts, and/or hats...is it legal to buy these items wholesale in bulk amounts, and then create my designs on them and sell them as my own product? I'm just not to sure if I was to customize these items and sell them as my own if that would be a problem to companies who i purchased the plain tshirt, hats and socks from. Any information or advice is much appreciative.
