I can't vouch for this guy, but I did take a good hard look at his site, book and information that you can request via mail... and it seems like it is straightforward and legitimate.

One thing I liked about his "message" was that he didn't preach that patents were absolutely necessary... which in licensing I can agree in concept.

Even if you don't use him, he's got some good information that you could use later on.

And don't go out and buy his book... go to the library... if they don't have it, request it.. they should be able to get it for you. Between that and the free info he'll mail you, you'll be a bit more knowledgeable.
