I can't say I've ever used an online dollar store or even know of any... but one concern I would have is the shipping costs.

If I can get a dollar trinket but have to pay $5 to ship it... well, so much for that.

I would try to come up with a target market that would want to buy multiple items (either the same or different) for a dollar so that the shipping costs would be insignificant to the overall purchase... or be worth it for the convenience.

One thought I have is "goodie bags" that get distributed for kids b-day parties. If you could supply a couple of trinkets bundled in the party theme wrapper... might be worth it for the parents.
