202, Teachers--Will this idea work?

Hello,

My husband and I currently teach in Atlanta, Ga, and we've recently taken the first steps in launching a new business. It never seems like we have enough time in the day to complete everything required of us, and the last thing we want to do is update/change our bulletin boards.

Thus, our company will be designing and creating bulletin boards for busy teachers longing to utilize their time for more important tasks. Teachers would simply visit the on-line store to choose background paper, border, themes, and wording for each board, and we bring all of the supplies to the school and complete the entire board.

We would be hiring sub-contractors(retired teachers/college students) to complete the work, and they would be paid per board. They pick up the materials at our home office prior to completing the job.

There are still many kinks to be worked out, but is there a market for this? Also, what do you think of the name "Border Patrol?"

My wife is a teacher and she has always done her own boards but is always saying how so many (especially first year teachers) can't seem to put a board together. She has actually helped our daughter her first two years of teaching, and others as well.

So to me, I think it would be a great idea for a business.

The name...I don't think so. To me, it relates to keeping people out of the country. You should try for a more inviting name. Bulletin Buddies, or Sticky Tacks, Better Bulletins???
