What state are you located in? Every state has different laws regarding payday advances. Most require that you register your business with the Department of Corporations and receive a license which needs to be posted on site at all times. There are also different disclosure laws regarding the APR's among other things which you need to get directly from the state you wish to operate in. In addition you need to check your local zoning laws to make sure the city or county you have your business in allows that type of business. The city or county might also require you to apply for a permit or license to operate. I know all of this because I worked at a payday company and I was in charge of applying for all of these permits and licenses. I hope this has been helpful!
