Hi Kay -

First, I think you need to change your presentation a bit. It's great that you have a website, but you need to have your own domain name so that you're not sending traffic to webnow or whatever the root domain is. Also, having such a long name is going to make it very difficult to actually use your website effectively. I would also recommend reorganizing your website to make it more user friendly but I'll stick to the topic of your question.

In terms of what you can do to grow your business - I think I need some background. What are you doing already? Are you advertising? If so, what methods are you using? What's your budget? How much have you spent already - are those methods working for you?

Hi Kay,

I must agree... having your own website rather than being on the host's server is tantamount to being in business for oneself. It is not that expensive and if you want people to believe that you are successful, it's the logical move.

That said... I find the layout to the site rather hmmmm, plastic... cookie cutter, unoriginal. Did you purchase a template? Not that this is a bad thing, but it doesn't serve to distance you from any of your competition.

Also, when offering VA services, we professionals are beginning to actively look for accreditation... I would look into it. It will give your business more credibility. You might wish to address that question in your FAQs, until you do get accredited.

Also, the email link... it is standard, if not customary to use a fill-in form these days for email to prevent miners from using your email address for spam.

Other than that, it looks like a great start... You are right on target thinking there is a market for your services. I use several VAs. One on retainer (our bookkeeper) and the rest on call.

Good luck,

T
