I live in Ohio and have a friend who makes cakes and cookies from her home. Her kitchen is licensed but she had to make a couple of modifications (oven and sink and separate frig).

She does quite well making close to $20,000 a year.

She sponsered a bitty league baseball league. She also markets her cookies to local convenience stores.
