Yes i am a notary public signing agent and i am wondering can you really make money doing so? has anyone tried to promote or gain money in this type of business? thanks!!!

It seems to depend on the type of document you're notarizing and requirements per state. For real estate related documents the notaries seem to charge more, also more money for notaries that travel to their clients.
I know when I sold my timeshare for the additional witness signature, mine and notary I ended up paying 25.00. So I guess if you market yourself to certain clients or maybe team up with a realtor or attorney that may give you volume and referrals. Hope this helps, good luck!

Wow. I have been waiting for someone who is in this business to ask this question. I have signed up for a Notary course and was wondering the same thing. Can you make money doing this. We all have enough road blocks that we have to cross and BYOB "Being your own boss" is the road block that I refuse to be intimidated by anymore. Thanks for the question it really helped me more than you know.:7
