I'm a management consultant. I started my business as an LLC in October 2006 I received my first client four to 5 months later.
I find that it's a networking business. You have to let people know you're out there. I have gotten a couple more clients via referrals as well. You also have to stay on top of marketing. I make sure I attend at least two networking events a month.
