I think I should have added a little more about the tux lines. These were my money makers. The tuxes are complete rental units; jacket, pants, shirt, shoes, vest/cummer bun & tie. I have (tail, shawl & notch) coats, many different vest styles and colors, regular and mandrin collar shirts in white and ivory. Basically I have a tuxedo rental store within my bridal business. What I don't have can always be rented. The benefit as I see it is that these units return about twice as much as renting from a major supplier while still undercutting most of the local competition.

I agree. I also have tuxs in stock. I would like to liquidate a lot of my inventory. I was hoping someone would like to purchase to sell on e-bay or in consignment. Before buying inventory that is old, you might try some of the company's that are running good deals on new inventory. I bought from a company that does a buy 5 get 5 free, and they are great looking gowns, try them, 800-516-0233. I plan to use them alot, things have sold well that I bought from them. I sold everything that I had in Prom Gowns for $500 just last week. Sorry, I couldnt help you. They way you buy is by going direct through manufactures. Like Mori Lee, P.C.Mary's, Majestic Bridals, Bonny Bridals. Those are just a few names of manufactures. There is a posting I made that shows you where to go to Market In Las Vegas coming up very soon.

I have decided to sell my business due to divorce. i have a small inventory of informal and formal bridal gowns. I also have a few formals for prom and some flower girl gowns. I have flowers and party favors and supplies for the crafter who wants to make it themselves. I have approx. 10 bridal gowns left, about 50 prom and party gowns beaded and unbeaded. For starters, getting started in the Bridal business is definately hard. There is so much competition, especially with these large chains that come in to the city. Like DAVID'S BRIDAL. Manufacturers like to sell minimums. They let you deal directly with sales reps, which can be annoying at times. You must be able to carry several different lines of designs. If you are unable to do that, I recommend don't even get started, but if you still feel like you need to try it, then for all who are reading this. On your PC s use your search engine, look for manufactures of Bridal gowns. Or just visit some site, that will give you names of designers they carry. Then from there, you can search for them yourself. Simple as that. The hard part is being able to carry a variety of lines and being able to keep up with the demand of the manufactures. GOOD LUCK!! I Decided not to sell my Bridal shop, I been in this business too long just to let it go. I am sorry it took this long to get back to you, you must have already started your business by now. However, if you would still be interested in buying gowns from me, I will send you pictures of what I have for sale. Most of my gowns are manufacture quality, but I also, have showroom samples, that have been tried on, but are in very good condition. Let me know if you are still interested.

However, I decided not to sell my inventory, but have been selling some of my inventory. I have Brand New gowns, showroom gowns, and discontinued gown at wholesale to below wholesale gowns.
