does anyone have any info on this company? their web site offers alot of loan types & makes it sound easy to get a start-up loan based only on personal credit. the site also says they're listed w/BBBonline. thanks

Sheryl:I can't imagine a start up obtaining a loan without the owners personal guaranty. I don't know the company, but it sounds like they are business loan brokers. As long as they can deliver on what they say there is nothing wrong with a loan broker. Just be careful of fees and promises that they can not honor. Tom Rose

Sheryl:A loan broker brings lenders and borrowers together. A loan broker acts like any other "broker" real-estate brokers bring buyers and sellers together. Brokers charge fees the borrower will pay the loan brokers fees often a combination of up front fees and fees built into the loan and spread over the loan term. Most smaller loans are based strictly on the borrowers credit score. A credit card lender will get a credit bureau report if the borrowers credit score is high enough the credit card is approved. The credit investigation cost to the lender is about $2.00. No magic involved with the process. The key will be the loan amount. Your not going to get a $100,000 loan based only on your credit bureau score. You may get a few thousand. TOM ROSE

I agree with TOM! Also Do not pay any front fees or retainer fees. Sometimes an application goes from finder/broker to broker to lender too. Let us know how things work out!

Hi, I just started to work with these people.... why you ask? Well, I have great credit and too much of it... I tried to do it on my own and banks said come back when some of this is payed off... so after 2 no's, I found America one =) Great I thought, no more leg work =) Example: For $30,000 unsecured, Intrest rate of between 7-13%, and a fee of 8.9% of total moneys ($2600?) is worth it.... I'll let you all know how it goes =) Ang

How did the relationship with America One Funding turn out? What documentation did they require? What type of loan did you apply for? What was the amount, term, rate, and fees associated with the loan?

Everything was fine... I recommend them for anyone who was like me...banks would turn me down for consolidation because I had too much in my name... but they did all the work and got it done... the fee was worth it... I believe its 6% of your total loan... and your loan is not directly with them, it will be through a bank of some kind, so terms and payments are the same anywhere (simple loan) anyway the 6% comes directly out of your loan, so they will ask the bank for the extra to cover their cost...thats it... try it out =)

>here is the link I promised to >everyone... >http://www.AmericaOneUnsecured.com/?AID=10054 > I am a professional website developer also googling this company because I'm looking for a loan broker. That value at the end of the url (AID=10054) is probably an affiliate marketing ID. That means if anyone clicks on this link and gets a loan, "Angela" gets a kickback. The service fee they charge will include this payment to "Angela." Go to http://www.AmericaOneUnsecured.com and click the Affiliates link for more info. There's nothing wrong with affiliate marketing, which I do myself, but it casts doubt as to whether "Angela" has really done business with them, or is engaging in viral marketing.

I am sorry you are so angry ... I really did get a loan with them and was talking to alot of people on these boards before i ever did it... yes, that is my affiliate # and yes I would get a kick back... but it would be a kickback from the company and not the person clicking the link... I am only trying to help others... I would have clicked the link myself (before i did it ) if someone had given it to me... It would have been alot easier than going through so many banks and them saying no..too much credit... I went through this company and they got me the money =) Thank you, Angela

You will have to choose the search using the website provide for America Unsecured. America One Funding and America Unsecured are one in the same. Thought this info. helpful if ones hastiness would cause them not exlpore further with the first two choices for searching a business at the BBB online website. Lisa

all they so is submit your application online to 4 major banks who then pull your credit, and you pay them 4--9 points. fill out the applications yourself and save money, I would not even call them "brokers" because they dont do any work to deserve being paid as far as I'm concerned. Fill out the apps your self, it is the same approval process. As a matter of fact, the banks they sign you up with have NO KNOWLEDGE that they are even a part of the transaction!! beware of any "broker" of unsecured lines of credit, they are operating under false pretenses.

I went through the whole process and got the money.... I did try the process on my own...I am very buyer beware of everything.... but after being turned down over 5 times because i had too much credit, I had to find an answer somehow and I knew that tring on my own again wasn't going to work much longer.... everytime your credit is pulled it takes points away which in turn causes more no's than yes's.... Do you get what I'm saying....yes, they are brokers, yes, the banks do know (my 2 did) and yes I am 4 more years from completely debt free =) with self control and cutting all credit cards up =)I am glad I did it =) Angela

i am glad it worked well for you. A suggestion, after you are "completely debt free" the worst thing you could do is cut up your credit cards. Your credit score will suffer, because your credit profile will be better with more credit depth. just leave them alone after they are paid down.

you obviously work for America One so you are pitching your product-- I get it. And if you dont work for them, you're just an idiot because you can't fill out the credit app's yourself you need a middle man to do it...you're buyer beware of credit card companies?? well I am buyer beware of America One because they (you) have nothing of service to offer, unless you're lazy or stupid and cant fill out an app yourself.

Just as person looking for negative feedback on AmOne, it appears i found what I was looking for. An excuse, albeit I dont really need one for not going with their company. A loan broker is one thing, but I have not seen anything advising what the *lenders* rates will be. I expected 6-9% of the total loan fee from the broker, especially for an unsecured loan. I dont want to be hit with an 10% or higher from the lender. I got to thinking, especially after reading tThe propaganda from Stan and Angela that its really not that great of a deal. I onlly wanted to borrow 5k to do some remodelling. My credit has seen better days, but their glorifying AmOne just reeks of schill. Sorry, but the wife can wait another couple of months til the money is saved, or a real financial institution will front us the $$. AmOne isnt seeing anything but a thank you from me.

Finally someone who has enough sense to see through america one, good for you...in my quest for credit I actually formed a company to serve my own needs in getting credit lines, for personal or business. I wont try to pitch anything to you, because that would appear pretty cheesy...just know that america one doesnt do anything you couldnt do for yourself.

OK, so most of the posters here are looking for $30,000.00 or less. What about start-up funding of $90,000.00 to $270,000.00? I don't have any problem finding funders for consolidation loans for $10,000 to $30,000. I ran into brick walls in two states for expansion loans and start-up funding for a business we just "took over" due to the death of the previous owner. Our credit is "excellent," but our assets are all "non-liquid" so no one would consider us. We are going with America One because they seem to have the ability to actually produce $$ for their promises and advertisements. 3 banks, 2 Credit Unions, SBA, Lottery $$ programs, Economic Development Funds, etc. all said: starve for 2 years and then re-apply. Its not a matter of "being able to fill out applications" its a matter of "who's gonna deliver"

America One is a scam. They royally rip you off and all they do is submit your loan application for you. You are better off going directly to a bank. Good thing I found out how they operated before I got screwed.PS - Angela is a scam artist who is trying to make money off the less informed. She didn't get a loan with America One, she is getting referral fees by directing people to them.

Financial Feast caters to people looking for advice on securing information and financing for their business. There are onsultants, lenders, brokers and buyers of all kinds who access this site looking for information and advice. Anyone who doesn't do their own due diligence in this day in age is not going to be capable of running a successful business anway. And I couldn't imagine going into a financial obligation of any kind without doing my homework. However, slamming people is not only inappropriate but as i am certain that you don't know Angela personally or whether or not she obtained a loan. She is providing information that somehow worked for her. If it doesn't work for you, great say your peace and don't slam people. I am offended by your post and this kind of negativity for people who are looking to recieve and share information cripples information that is legitimate on this poster. Let's use common sense when using free speech and stop slamming individuals that you DON'T KNOW with presumtuous attacks. I would have found your information and experience far more relavant if you didn't use it to attack another human being.
