I move people personal items from one place to another.
When and why did you start the biz?
After watching my Mother and family members/friends get horrible
service and robbed when they hired major moving company. I decided to
help those who couldn't afford to pay thousands of dollars and get bad

Where's your office?
Currently working from my house. However, looking to grow into a
buliding with a real office.
What's the toughest part of running your biz?
Getting people in my community to know that i exist. I have tried
different types of marketing. It has helped a little bit. I do get a
lot of personal referrals from previous customers. Also keeping good
employees when work gets slow.
What's the most fun part?
Releasing the stress off of a customer. I do understand that moving
your personal belongings comes with alot of stress. First, you really
don't realize how much you really have until its time to move it.

Anything you would have done differently?
Yes, alot. Marketing is definitely the key. I have done a lot of stupid
marketing things wish i hadn't. And having goid quality employees is
also a much. Not just hiring the first person who shows up.
What's next on the horizon for your biz?
Finding a warehouse to offer storage to my customers. A couple of newer
trucks. Obviously, hire more employees.
What advice do you have for others?
If you have an idea go for it. If you fail. Get up and do it again.
Learn from those mistakes.
How do you use Idea Cafe to help your biz?
Getting answers to questions. Also, giving back to others that are
looking for the same. Its a win-win for everyone. I do believe in
paying it forward, because you never know when you are on the receiving

you to go into business for yourself?
After being a Fed-Ex contractor. I decided i needed something more
challenging then dropping off boxes.
