What does your business do?
A Listening Ear, LLC provides transportation and patient advocacy
services to the senior citizens of our communities.
How Many People are in your Company?
Where's your office?
I operate my business from my house out of a spare bedroom that I
transformed as a fully functioning office. I have a Large desk, and
desk chair, a personal computer, two copiers (one with fax and
scanning capabilities), two medium sized bookshelves and a shredder.
What's the toughest part of running your biz?
Since I am still in the hiring process, I think managing the patient
advocacy team will be my toughest challenge.
What's the most fun part?
My clients make it all worthwhile. Knowing that I am providing a
service that fills a need but also helps family is truly rewarding.
Anything you would have done differently?
As I gain experience I will update this section.
What's next on the horizon for your biz?
Eventually I would like to expand my business in a few other states.
What advice do you have for others?
If you have an idea that you truly feel is worth pursuing...pursue
it. Don't let other people's fear of failure stop, delay or postpone
Also be prepared for some of the people you rely on to disappoint
you when you need their services. Learn how to do it yourself if you
have a low budget or pay someone else to do it but, DON'T, ask that
same person to help you again, especially if they didn't have a
reason for letting you down the first time. Remember, they are
showing you they are unreliable... believe them or pay the
consequences with your business.
How do you use Idea Cafe to help your biz?
Again, since I am really new to the site, I found that answering this
questions to help others very relaxing.
