What does your business do?
Assist individuals in the process of completing or researching information for important matters.
When and why did you start the biz?
I am starting the business because I have been through a lot in my life and I understand the struggle in trying to find out what you need to do in order to get help. Also, I have experienced the trouble in trying to get information from people like it is top secret or they really don't want to help.
How Many People are in your Company?
Just myself so far
Where's your office?
My start up creative process is in my apartment right now. So far I have only helped family and friends in need.
What's the toughest part of running your biz?
My business is not in motion yet. But, I believe it will be the start up paperwork and process. I have been in the administrative field for over 10 years. At this time, I am struggling with transportation. Once I get rolling it should be easy.
What's the most fun part?
The fun part will be helping people and being able to share my stories. People relate better with those who have been through the same struggles. Just knowing and feeling the joy that I helped someone.
Anything you would have done differently?
I would have followed advice given to me and not second guess myself in decision making. I would have made sure that I followed my heart and not the wrong influences. I have always had a kind heart but was told I shouldn't try to please or help everyone.
What's next on the horizon for your biz?
If everything goes well, I will look into expanding to be certified to be a social worker in order to extend my help and knowledge further. I really want to help those who can't help themselves.
What advice do you have for others?
I would advice others to count on themselves and not others. Many will need you until they are back on their game, then leave you behind like you were never there. Make sure you get what you are worth, many will take your kindness for weakness and your silence for

Do any of these pets help with your biz?
No, but they do put me in a good mood to start my day.
Is there any one person or event in your life that led
you to go into business for yourself?
The event that led me to go into my own business was when I helped someone start their own business from the ground up. She did not know how to talk to individuals and people would complain to me how they were treated. I would have to be the one to calm the situation. I believe everyone should be treated with respect no matter how you physically view them. She would always say money motivates me. She couldn't dwell on how they felt. We all have been in the role of being an employee, why treat someone different because you are now an employer. I just set back and watched till she did the same to me. I will treat people how I would want to be treated. You don't know what people are going through a that time, so why trigger a situation. This company was suppose to be helping persons with disabilities, and they don't even have a kind heart. Money was motivating the heart.
Anyone you publicly want to thank?
I would like to thank Chaquella Bradley of Volusia County Human Services. She was a lifeline when I was at the end of my rope. She helped me through a lot and gave me valuable information. This was through the Family-Self Sufficiency Program (FSS)
