What does your business do?
We are a one stop shop for planning your event with creativity and organization. We provide the best in vendors, venues and event materials to fit your every need at budget friendly prices.
When and why did you start the biz?
We started in 2008 doing research in our field collecting pertinent information for our future clients in the way of vendors, venues and event d�cor prices in our market and service ares to save our client's time and money. We officially opened our door in 2010.
How Many People are in your Company?
Where's your office?
We currently run the business from my home where I am blessed to have a office and a spare bedroom that I am using to currently store our growing inventory of event d�cor
What's the toughest part of running your biz?
The toughest part of running my business is getting noticed by new clients. Getting new leads and fostering past relationships. I am pulled in many different directions as a owner and I try to keep all the plates spinning.
What's the most fun part?
The day of the event when I see the satisfaction on my client's face as months of hard work has come alive.
Anything you would have done differently?
No! I love the stress, the joy and the tears of the entire show. Every time.
What's next on the horizon for your biz?
We have been blessed with very generous clients and would like to start to give back. We want to help pave the way for young planner starting out in the field and offer mentoring programs and foster events for interns to work to get real world experience.

How do you use Idea Cafe to help your biz?
I plan to use Idea caf� with my biz by holding our expertise out for the world to take advantage of our experience and get the same in return. Also we are very interested in the grants to further our cause in the planning field in Alabama.

Is there any one person or event in your life that led
you to go into business for yourself?
My own wedding was very cookie cutter and not very personalized to the style of my new spouse and I. I wanted to do this so brides everywhere can know that you don't have to spend a million to get the wedding that you see in the magazines.
