Unconventional team building activities in London

Teamwork contributes significantly to the success of a business. However, conflicts caused by personal interests are bound to arise in a work environment since everyone is also working to achieve individual goals. Conventional team building workshops can be intense but there are lots of team building activities available in London that are not only fun and engaging, but also very effective. Here are a few of our recommendations.

Hunt for treasure in the streets of London

This team-building activity is not only competitive and highly participative, but it is also lots of fun. It takes two to four hours, and every team has ten or more members. Each group is given an iPad tablet with a unique GPS app to help them undertake one of the most interactive and high-tech treasure hunts yet. This challenge can also be personalised to help reinforce your company’s objectives and core values.

London's Game of Zones Challenge

Using London’s Game of Zones app installed on the latest iPad, different teams use a map to visit four zones in London. Teams are tested to their limits as they race against a limited time of three to four hours. Participants are forced to find new ways to interact and motivate each other. The best part about this challenge is that the winning team gets medals.

Canal Treasure Hunt

Escape all the noise of the busy London streets for a fun adventure along the central London canal. Teams navigate through a pre-selected route using an iPad and get the chance to drive a boat. With scenic views of Regent Park and Little Venice, this challenge provides a truly unique experience. A prize ceremony at the end will motivate team members to interact and work together.

The Bigger Picture

Break the ice at conferences using this fun challenge. It focuses on how individual efforts contribute to the success of a company. Small teams are required to independently create small sections of one piece of art in order to create a bespoke design. Communication is crucial in this activity. Otherwise, the independent parts of art may not fit into the bigger picture. Once the activity is done, the art piece is given to the team for them to hang in the office.

Volunteering for a course that is in line with your company's values is also a great way to encourage teamwork among employees. You can contact Team Tactics for more information.
