Living Like Tai Lopez: 3 Tips to Wealth, Knowledge, and Happiness

If you don’t know who Tai Lopez is, just take a quick look around the internet and you’ll see his influence in many places—Facebook, Twitter, SnapChat, Instagram, and even Amazon. Plus, he’s got his hands in dozens of multi-million dollar companies. Millions of people subscribe to his social media channels, just to try to pick up on some tips to his success. In fact, he’s started dedicating himself to helping people learn to live what he calls “The Good Life,” and his tips have helped transform many lives.

But regardless of whether you’ve heard of him or not, odds are you wouldn’t mind living a similar lifestyle. Tai is a multi-millionaire and influential figure in the business world as well as in the social sphere. So here are 3 tips to help you live like Tai Lopez—the free, condensed guide to living “The Good Life.”

Read Every Day

Unlike a lot of his peers, Tai is always preaching the value of reading. He states that he reads a book a day, and while this may be a bit more than more people are able to handle, it simply highlights the value that he places on reading. Of course, you’re not going to get a lot of value from reading the latest steamy romance novel. Focus on reading books that offer you true value and guidance in your life.

If you’re not sure where to start, Tai offers a list of his favorite books on his website. You can use those as a springboard for your own reading list, but try to tailor the books you read to the things you’re interested and the topics you want to learn about.

Find a Mentor

Another vital step that you’ll hear this millionaire talking about is the importance of finding mentors to guide you in your journey. Whether it’s a journey in business or a journey through some personal trials, find someone that’s been there.

This should be someone you can actually spend time with and talk to, so don’t just pick a successful individual and think that listening to their latest podcast is going to be enough. You need to be able to actually engage with and ask questions of your mentor when you need to. There is great value in having an experienced opinion when you need it most.

Avoid the Quick Fix

As Beverly Sills once said, “There are no shortcuts to any place worth going.” If you want to achieve that good life you’ve been dreaming of, there is not going to be a magic pill or fairy godmother that will give it to you. It takes time and hard work, and anybody selling you a “quick fix” is selling you a long-term failure.

Sure, there may be some instances where people found a fast fix to their problems. People win the lottery, get lucky on an investment, or get magical surgeries to lose weight. But the vast majority of these people don’t find long-term success. They lose the money to a different, less successful investment or simply spend it all very quickly. The weight comes back.

The only way to true, long-term success is to avoid the Quick Fix Hoax and put your nose to the grindstone. Most of the successful people you see in the world have gotten there through years of grinding it out, not through luck or quick fixes.

So if you really want to live “The Good Life” like multi-millionaire Tai Lopez, the time to start is now. Get a mentor, get a book, and settle in for some hard work. It’s not an easy journey, but it’s the one sure path to the future you dream of.
