About our Guest Expert: Liz Folger of Bizy Moms Liz Folger works full-time as a mom, wife, author, self-syndicated columnist and public speaker. She has two daughters ages four and five. Her book, The Stay-at-Home Mom's Guide To Making Money, has been featured in Forbes, Business Start-Ups, Working From Home, and Woman's Own. She has also appeared as a guest expert on many radio and regional TV shows, including an appearance on Lifetime -- Television for Women's, Our Home and on PBS's Internet Cafe. Liz is considered the work-at-home mom expert and runs a resource on the Internet called Bizy Moms. Her Website is for moms who want to work at home and for those moms who already have a home business. She also publishes a weekly syndicated column that can be found on many sites on the Internet. Right before the birth of her first daughter, Liz struggled with how she could stay home with her child and still contribute to her family's income. Falling for a scam and sinking a lot of money into a dealership that didn't work out, she finally figured out the key to success was to find a business she loved and didn't actually feel like work. After this realization, her writing career took off and so she's ready to share her secrets for making work-at-home easier for you! Liz's Answers I make all kinds of country crafts and would like to start a work-at-home business. I have no idea how to begin. Any helpful hints or advice would be appreciated. I don't want to be away from my daughter who is 2, or unavailable for my son when he gets out of school at noon.....I make my children's clothing and have considered selling special ordered clothing over the net, but I have no idea as to where to start... I'm a new mother and very interested in working from home. I'd be interested in data entry, medical billing, or clerical work. I also have no money for start-up costs. So if anyone has any ideas for me, please let me know. Does anyone have any "Schmoozing 101" advice they could offer?
