The Benefits of Sticker Printing to Small Business Owners
As a small business owner, you need every tip and trick you can find to save money while marketing and growing your business. While you may be advised to have a killer social media profile or put out pretty
It Can Turn Anything into Marketing Material One of the points in favor of sticker printing is that it is an economical method of turning anything into marketing material Instead of having branded bags to put purchased products in, buy cheaper bags and label everything with a sticker with your company’s logo or marketing message. Turn plain white bags used to carry your products into branded marketing material. It could save you money on packaging, as well, if you place items in a conventional clear plastic wrap before attaching one or two of your branded stickers on it. Wearing a branded sticker yourself won’t eliminate the need for company T-shirts at some point, but it is a start. Add your company branded sticker to your name tag, and you’ll introduce both yourself and your business at the same time. Note that pre-printed stickers can advertise various aspects of the product to the public while capturing their attention. Is the product vegan? Is it locally made? Is it organic? Apply the descriptive stickers to the product as appropriate. If it doesn’t increase sales, then you can stop doing so. And you didn’t have to pay for changes in the overall packaging design touting features that turned out not to matter to customers. If you find out that an ingredient is an allergen, you can apply bright warning stickers to those products on top of educating your team to warn people of the allergens they contain. It Promotes Your Brand Recognition Suppose you’re giving out free samples of a beauty product in the mall. Sharing branded stickers with the children of your visitors will keep the kids busy for a few moments, giving you more time to engage with prospective clients. This improves your conversion rate. If they’re wearing the stickers in the mall, it increases recognition of your brand by those who later pass by your location. If they wear the sticker’s home, their parents are more likely to remember your brand fondly and do business with you later. These same benefits are seen when you apply branded stickers to gift baskets and gift bags. When someone buys a gift basket full of beauty products, your branded stickers may be on the outside of the gift bag. However, you can put the same promotional stickers on items in the inside of the gift bag. Then the gift recipient will learn about your business and associate it with the wonderful items they received. Their Potential for Fighting Fraud You can even use stickers to help fight fraud. Close every bag containing purchased items with a branded sticker. This makes it harder for someone to slip additional items in to the bag as they leave. It makes it more obvious who has already paid for their product and who is using a similar bag to carry purchases from another It Can Save You Time Stickers can also be used as labor saving devices. Forget coming up with tape to close that package and use a branded sticker to do so. Skip the tedious process of writing out your brand name, website address and phone number on a business card and apply a sticker with this information on everything you send out or share. A side benefit of having pre-printed stickers with this information ensures that the information is always legible. You don’t have to worry about someone incorrectly writing down your cell phone number or web address. Apply these same stickers to products and gift baskets to ensure that every client has it. Conversely, small stickers that say thank you for your business or say we appreciate your business can offset a hurried rush to handle the next customer. Warning stickers such as “keep away from pets” or “contains nuts” will answer the questions customers have about the products, freeing you up to address other questions or sell to people who can and will buy it.
