We do so much good for our true American Heroes!

I nominate this entrepreneur because I believe in the goal and the vision to inspire people. The world we live in is a challenge at best. If we look at the news or read a newspaper; we will see that people need to be encouraged. Statistics about social programs, economic stresses, family issues, job losses, and many other societal ills can reek havoc on peace of mind in households. Speak It Christian Magazine is a new publication. We are a business baby. And we know that babies grow! This grant could help up to reach more people, and to eventually be able to offer internships with paid stipends or college scholarships for writers and designers.

This man went from the top of a company and in trusting the wrong people he ended up homeless living on the streets for three years. While homeless he wrote an Academic Career Readiness program titled "28 Days to Employment" and through his Career Camp classes he has helped thousands of families in crisis find a career, not just a job. Of those that complete the program and follow it's direction, there is a 95% hiring rate and 98% retention rate. This man is a hero to the less fortunate of America.

CJ's (Cowboy Joe's) is a neighborhood gift shop that is filled with gifts that are made with love. Originally the shop was stocked with mostly western items that were purchased from manufactured suppliers. However the main product now is hand-crafted items, whether made by CJ's owner Lee or her friends and family. New items are constantly being added as they are made. The small shop was specifically built and named Cowboy Joe's in honor of Lee's adult son Joe who passed away in 2013. However, later realizing that the town of Weare, NH was not all that interested in the western/cowboy concept, the owner made the decision to change the direction of Cowboy Joe's and go with the new name of CJ's Gift Designer. Most items in the shop are now geared to anyone in need of a gift for a loved one, friend or themselves. Fresh flowers and plants are also available via pre-order and locally delivered. Personalized gift baskets are available as well.
