What does your business do?

I design stationery as tools for self reflection and organization for women.

How would you use the grant money?

In celebrating 3 years of business, I decided that it would be a great time to start manufacturing my own stationery products. I would use the money to purchase a notebook machine and accessories to start making my own planners and notebooks. Eventually extending the service to other stationery business owners that will need book binding services.

What would the grant enable you to do that you can't now?

What the grant would enable me to do that I can't do now is cut manufacturing cost on my high ticket price items. As a small bushiness owner, cutting cost where you can is lower the risk of losing money and although things happen in bushiness, I desire to invest wisely that my risk may not be as high.

If Idea Cafe's Grant helps your biz reach greater success, how will you "pay it forward" to help others in some way?

The way I will help "pay it forward" is two ways; 1. provide stationery manufacturing to small business owners at low cost and 2. I will also provide employment to 1 person who will be helping me manufacture the notebooks.
