What does your business do?

Support busy mothers committed to breast-pumping for their baby! My company has revolutionized breast pumping apparel to support professional working mothers with options that are sleek, stylish, economical, and discreet.

How would you use the grant money?

I am currently bootstrapping my company, but most immediately, I would use any additional funds to assist with completing my website design, getting stock photographs of my apparel on models, and to continue developing the next generation of revolutionary garments.

What would the grant enable you to do that you can't now?

Since I am self funding my company, every single penny counts! Strategically, my company will start as an e-commerce company so it is critical that I complete my website design with all necessary security protocols for placing orders and purchases.

If Idea Cafe's Grant helps your biz reach greater success, how will you "pay it forward" to help others in some way?

In the process of starting my business I have been afforded the opportunity to attend workshops with other beginning entrepreneurs. As a group we have been fortunate enough to listen to established and successful entrepreneurs and it is my goal to be able to help others in the same way. This community is so supportive and collaborative, it has rejuvenated my faith in others. Talking with others and with mentors has made me realize that I have a lot of valuable information to offer and I hope to share my path to success with potential business owners.
