Prospective 180 is an education consulting firm that believes in building relationships in signature not print. Our mission is to challenge the mindsets and practices of traditional learning, through the development of quality relationships, habits of success, learning blueprints, personalized instruction and data analysis. See, every student cannot fit in a generic "one size fits all mold". Instead, it is the duty of the prospective changer to cultivate the desire for the student to sculpt their own mold based on past experiences, current influence, and future goal. We do this by going into school and teaching teachers how to build quality relationships that will help support productive instruction.
With half of the $1000 grant, I would like to set up a $500 prospective changing classroom scholarship. This scholarship will be awarded to a teacher and their classroom that is embracing the mindset that “building strong relationships is the foundation of student success”. The second half of the grant, will go toward a summer institute goal setting camp for students. This will help students understand why setting goals are important, make personal/academic vision boards, and write letters to their future teachers to help build quality relationships at the beginning of the year. Any of the funds will go right back into the community.
This grant will enable us to give a 500 dollar scholarship to a classroom. This will encourage learning within the 21st century classroom, it will also help us get the summer camp off the ground and secure material needed to support the camp. Since we are just starting out, our funds have go towards marketing, and start-up. This grant will allow us to reach out and give to the community much quicker.
Prosepctive 180 has decided that with each contract we sign we will also give a classroom scholarship to that school and district. We will also continue to host workshops that help students prepare for their future success.
