What does your business do?

The NAJMTEK’s UBook is a highly versatile, interactive technological hardware and
software solution, including the first ever neurological “sign alphabet”, and assistive apps,
especially designed for people having dyslexia. Our dyslexia centric tools are the result of
more than 20 years of medical research and practice by specialists worldwide.
The UBook looks and feels like an ultra-light laptop, has the mobility and the convenience
of a tablet, is easy to clean and remains infinitely transformable and customizable to fit all
the needs of people having dyslexia. NAJMTEK’s All-In-One multi-touch machine also
includes features such as a multi-language, multi-functional keyboard, a graphic tablet
enabling users to work directly on the screen independent of, or in tandem with, the
keyboard. This machine also runs Windows and Linux programs.
UBook is a single hardware tool enabling optimal mobility and infinite adaptability with its
own on-line applications store and software development kit (SDK).
One device, infinite possibility.

How would you use the grant money?

NAJMTEK would use the grant money to update our website, which has not been updated since 2012.

What would the grant enable you to do that you can't now?

NAJMTEK's website is very old fashioned but we have not been able to update it due to lack of funds. The grant money from Idea Cafe would allow us to hire a web designer to help us create a new and modern website. Our website is not mobile friendly either. Hiring a web designer would allow us to be accesible on all platforms.

If Idea Cafe's Grant helps your biz reach greater success, how will you "pay it forward" to help others in some way?

NAJMTEK has a record of giving back to schools with time and money. We require our employees to give 20 hours a year of volunteer service. We usually focus on schools and organizations that help dyslexic children.
