The Veloz Group

What does your business do?
The Veloz Group was formed with the belief that a team of young, determined entrepreneurs can capitalize on a broad range of opportunities in the marketplace and across industries. We value creativity from people who are passionate in exploring and seizing opportunities in business and offer them a free of the bureaucratic environment. Gathering entrepreneurs in all talent, from technology and product design to business management, the Veloz group runs and grows our own companies with invaluable supports from our senior leaders.

We started our journey in 2012 and are growing tremendously. The Veloz Group is comprised of five divisions: Veloz Capital; Veloz Ventures; Veloz Industries; Ventures Innovations; and Veloz Entertainment. Within each division we create and operate companies that are innovative and highly profitable. While we gather experts from different areas, we streamline the process of making every project possible within a short period of time. The Veloz Group has a team of technological engineers to continuously invent new products and develop new technology for existed business. After the products are out, we have a marketing team to efficiently promote products for each subordinate through various channels. Such flexibility enables the Veloz group to launch companies in various industries with completed technology support and sustainable suppliers under a guarantee of high quality. Till this point the Veloz Group operates six companies including Beverly Hills Chairs , Beverly Hills Auto Group, Briarmont & Co., Veloz International Advisors, Wapi Gaming, and Magnopic. All the above companies range different industries from office suppliers and automobiles parts to financial services. If everything goes as planned, we will be ready to launch three more companies by the end of 2012. Not only we create the companies, we also conduct evaluation for all the existed companies periodically so we can further invest our effort into the most profitable ones.

How would you use the grant money?
The Veloz Group is not only looking at the number of companies that we create, but we also emphasize on the quality of each company as well. We understand the key in keeping a sustainable business under the current competitive market is effective marketing. Therefore, the grant money would enable the Veloz Group to market our startup ventures.

What would the grant enable you to do that you can't now?
Our current budgets are allocated toward the general operation of all the companies. With such grant the Velzo Group would have the opportunity to explore creative marketing strategies and outreach our companies to a higher level of market with greater potential. The grant will lead to a 30% increase in sales and a 50% increase in customer recognition. To measure the efficiency of new market strategies, we will periodically conduct evaluation and customer survey to understand the effect of different methods of marketing.

If Idea Cafe's Grant helps your biz reach greater success, how will you "pay it forward" to help others in some way?
In the same way that The Veloz Group capitalizes on the unique skills of team members to further our business objectives, we draw upon the best in those who work with us to connect with individuals across our community. As young entrepreneurs, we appreciate the mentorship we received and continue to receive from those more experienced and accomplished than us, and we therefore understand the importance of continuing this cycle by spending time with students in high school, college and graduate school, as well as recent graduates.

We are focused on inspiring and developing a new generation of thinkers and leaders, and make ourselves available to speak to large groups of students â?? whether in classroom lectures or through student organizations â?? as well as smaller, more targeted groups tailored to specific interests. In addition to teaching students about entrepreneurship and general management, we are focused on engendering creativity, innovation and independence.
