"A Volunteer organization idea..... I need some tips on how to start it."

I have been having this idea for a while now, to start a volunteer organisation. I'm from Kenya and we get very many volunteers coming to help out throughout the year. What I want to do is to get them to register online with my organisation, arrange for their pick up when they get here, arrange for their accomodation during their volunteer period and then post them to various parts of the country, depending on where they want to go and in which institution they want to volunteer e.g orphanages, hospitals, schools, HIV/AIDS institutionns etc.
It works better if I could find a partner, or a contact from any country abroad as it's easier to send volunteers here.
I will appreciate any ideas you have or if anyone is interested, please let me know.
Do you think this is a good idea?

I'm not sure about in Kenya, but in the U.S. most people who plan to go to another country to do volunteer work make advance arrangements with an organization in the country they plan to visit. They contact the organization, arrange a time to visit, find out about needed supplies and other items, then the local organization arranges to meet them at the airport, arranges lodging and takes care of everything needed in their country.

You might contact the organizations in your country that regularly host groups of volunteers and see if you can offer your services to them. Surely there is a need for transportation of both people and supplies and possibly other things as well. You might even arrange for sightseeing trips for the volunteers when they have free time.
